Accessible Expressions Ohio

Accessible Expressions Ohio (AEO) is an adjudicated, statewide exhibition and tour of visual art that began in 1996. The program is an opportunity for artists of all ages to demonstrate their abilities. The goals of the program are to provide professional development opportunities for artists to create, exhibit and sell their art, recognize all ability levels, and present art by people with disabilities in inclusive settings. Entrants submit work under Youth (18 and under), Emerging, or Professional categories. A select number of high-quality pieces are selected to form the tour.

Bring AEO to your community!

VSA Ohio is always looking for sites to host AEO. Scheduling the exhibit is easy – dates and the number of pieces displayed are flexible. VSAO can also provide a staff member to assist with installation and deinstallation. AEO has been displayed at libraries, government and corporate offices, galleries, and conferences. The exhibit is a great way to make your site visually appealing and help VSAO raise awareness about all abilities. For more information call 614-241-5325 or download the Site Survey and return it to VSAO.
