Registration is NOW OPEN for ACT : Accessible Creativity Transforms Dis/Ability Conference + Festival (ACT) on September 27 and 28, 2018 at the historic Lincoln Theatre and Jazz Arts Group spaces, located at 769 E. Long St. Columbus, Ohio 43203.

Participants will have the opportunity to attend presentations, hear keynote speakers, participate in art- making activities, network, and learn new ways to support inclusive missions and accessible outreach programs. The goal of this event is to make creativity more accessible to people with disabilities, ultimately fostering positive individual and community transformations.

ACT will bring together culture administrators, educators, artists, therapists, university/public sector, families, and self-advocates with different abilities to share strategies and participate in activities with one another. The first day is devoted to lectures, dialogue, and resource sharing while the second day is a showcase of artists of different medium and abilities from across Ohio. CEUs for a variety of professionals will be available. A Family Art Festival will take place on Friday evening from 4:00pm – 7:00pm.
