Have fun with self-expression through movement, words/voice, and making marks on paper. Improvisation-based workshop for adults facilitated by NiCole Garlando, dancer/poet/artist and member of the American Art Therapy Association, for VSA Ohio and ReelAbilities Film Festival Columbus.

This workshop is inclusive, accessible, and free.

We'll provide paper and marking utensils. Please feel free to bring your own sketchbooks or journals, if you like. Wear comfy clothes, we will be in socks or bare feet.

The workshop is part of VSA Ohio's community programming for ReelAbilities Film Festival Columbus with screenings at Gateway Film Center. Inspired by the May 16 film, "Nise: the Heart of Madness", this workshop is presented in partnership with Southeast Inc. and Fresh A.I.R. Gallery artists whose exhibit will be on view at Flux + Flow May 1 - July 29, 2018.
